CARE
FOR YOUR CARPET care and
maintenance of a new carpet is a case of regular vacuuming
and prompt action in dealing with spillages to avoid
staining.
With a new carpet a certain amount of fluffing will
take place. The fluff is actually short pieces of fiber
from the pile yarn which work their way to the surface.
Today's carpets should be vacuumed from day one to maintain
their good looks.
Light
coloured carpets sometimes show a staining effect caused
by pile being bent in different directions when walked
on. Obviously soiling will be more apparent on light
colours so the stain resistant treatments available
such as stain release and carpet protector from Scotchgard
are an advantage when those inevitable domestic accidents
occur.
